LEE MULLICAN was an American artist born in Chickasha, Oklahoma 1919 and died in Santa Monica, California 1998.  Lee Mullican’s work has been exhibited extensively, including solo exhibitions at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the Hammer Museum, LA; and the Grey Art Gallery, NYC. Mullican’s works can be found in the collections of the San Francisco Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, amongst others.
